Change these sentences from active voice to passive voice:
- He will ask a question.
- Her mother didn’t call the doctor.
- Paul has taken your keys.
- The postman is delivering the letters.
- The students must read this book.
- A question will be asked (by him).
- The doctor wasn’t called by her mother.
- Your keys have been taken by Paul.
- The letters are being delivered by the postman.
- This book must be read by the students.
Exercise 2
Change these sentences from passive voice to active voice :
- The dog wasn’t fed by my brother.
- Our homework has been done.
- A brownie is being baked by Annie.
- The report had been written by the manager.
- Who are laws signed by?
- My brother didn’t feed the dog.
- We have done our homework.
- Annie is baking a brownie.
- The manager had written the report.
- Who signs laws?
Exercise 3
Change these sentences from active voice to passive voice. Make the underlined part the subject:
- The storekeeper will show them the way.
- She told me a lie.
- He sends his aunt bouquets.
- Our family has lent them some money.
- Could you give her the benefit of the doubt?
- They will be shown the way by the storekeeper.
- I was told a lie by her.
- Bouquets are sent to his aunt by him.
- They have been lent some money by our family.
- Could she be given the benefit of the doubt (by you)?

Change these sentences to the impersonal passive voice:

- They thought I was on holiday.
