Pon entre paréntesis el verbo en past continuous:
- I ________ (to read) a poem. = Yo leía un poema.
- While Mike ________ (to study), Tom and Simon ________ (to play) video games. = Mientras Mike estudiaba, Tom y Simon jugaban a videojuegos.
- I thought you ________ (to make) fun of me. = Pensé que te estabas burlando de mí.
- Jane and I ________ (to plan) to travel to Colombia. = Jane y yo planeábamos ir a Colombia.
- She ________ (to lie) to protect her friend. = Mentía para proteger a su amiga.

Ejercicio 2
Pon el verbo entre paréntesis en la forma negativa del past continuous:
- She usually sings in the shower but she ________ (to sing / not) this morning. = Suele cantar en la ducha, pero esta mañana no cantaba.
- I ________ (to work / not) on anything new. = No estaba trabajando en nada nuevo.
- We ________ (to listen / not) to their conversation. = No escuchábamos su conversación.
- It ________ (to take / not) so long. = No tomó tanto tiempo.
- You ________ (to pay / not) attention to the clock. = No estabas prestando atención a la hora.

Ejercicio 3
Pon el verbo entre paréntesis en la forma interrogativa del past continuous:

Traduce estas frases utilizando el past continuous:
- Estabas viendo el partido por televisión.
- ¿Llovió anoche?

- Yo estaba pintando la pared de la casa.
- You were watching the match on TV.
