A Day at the Beach
Last Saturday, Anna went to the beach with her family. The weather was sunny and warm. They left their house at 9 a.m. and drove for one hour to reach the beach. Anna’s little brother, Tom, was very excited. He wanted to build a big sandcastle.
When they arrived, Anna and her mother laid out a blanket on the sand. Her father opened the picnic basket and took out sandwiches, apples, and a bottle of orange juice. Tom ran to the water to play. The sea was blue and calm. Anna swam for a while and then read her favorite book under the umbrella. At lunchtime, they all ate together. Anna’s mother gave her some sunscreen because the sun was very bright and hot. After lunch, they played volleyball on the beach. Anna’s team won!
In the afternoon, they walked along the shore and found pretty shells. Anna kept three shells as a souvenir. At 5 o’clock, they packed their things and went home. It was a wonderful day!
A Visit to the Zoo
Last Sunday, Emma and her friends went to the zoo. They arrived early in the morning because they wanted to see all the animals. The weather was cool and cloudy, so it was perfect for walking.
First, they visited the monkeys. The monkeys were swinging on the trees and eating bananas. Emma laughed when one monkey made a funny face. Then, they walked to the lion’s area. The lion was sleeping under a tree. Her friend Jack said, “The lion looks very peaceful.”
After that, they saw colorful birds in the aviary. The parrots were loud and beautiful. Emma’s favorite animal was the giraffe. It was very tall and had a long neck. She took a picture of the giraffe eating leaves from a tree.
At noon, they sat on a bench and ate sandwiches and apples. Emma drank a bottle of water because she was thirsty. After lunch, they went to the gift shop. Emma bought a small toy elephant as a souvenir.
At 3 o’clock, they left the zoo and took the bus home. Emma was happy because it was a fun day, and she learned a lot about animals.
The School Picnic
Last Friday, Mark and his classmates went on a school picnic. Their teacher, Mrs. Brown, organized the trip. They went to a large park near the city. Everyone was excited because it was a sunny day.
When they arrived, Mrs. Brown asked them to sit under a big tree. She gave instructions about safety and told them to stay together. After that, the children played games on the grass. Mark’s favorite game was football. His team won, and he was very happy.
At lunchtime, they ate sandwiches, fruits, and chocolate cookies. Mark shared his cookies with his best friend, Sam. After lunch, they walked around the park and saw a small lake. Some children fed the ducks, and others took pictures of the flowers.
In the afternoon, Mrs. Brown told them stories about nature. Mark learned about different trees and birds. Before leaving, everyone wrote about their favorite part of the picnic. Mark wrote, “I loved playing football and seeing the ducks.”
At 4 o’clock, they got on the school bus and went home. It was a fun and memorable day for everyone.
A Trip to the Supermarket
Yesterday, Sarah went to the supermarket with her mother. They needed to buy food for the week. Sarah carried a shopping list and a small basket.
First, they went to the fruit section. Sarah picked bananas, apples, and a watermelon. Her mother chose some oranges and grapes. Then, they walked to the vegetable aisle. They bought carrots, potatoes, and tomatoes. Sarah liked the bright colors of the vegetables.
Next, they went to the bakery. The smell of fresh bread was everywhere. Sarah’s mother bought a loaf of bread and some cookies. Sarah asked if they could buy a chocolate cake, and her mother said yes. Sarah was very happy.
After that, they visited the dairy section. They put milk, cheese, and yogurt in their basket. Finally, they went to the cashier. Sarah helped her mother put the items on the counter. The cashier smiled and said, “Have a nice day!”
When they got home, Sarah helped her mother put the food in the fridge and cupboards. She enjoyed the trip to the supermarket and learned about different types of food.
A Morning Jog
Every morning, John wakes up early to go jogging. He lives near a big park, so he jogs there. This morning, he woke up at 6 o’clock, put on his running shoes, and left the house. The weather was cool and pleasant, with a light breeze.
The park was quiet, and the air was fresh. John started jogging on the main path, which was surrounded by tall trees. Along the way, he saw a few people walking their dogs. One dog barked loudly, and John smiled. He also saw some ducks swimming in a small pond. The water was clear, and he could see fish swimming under the surface.
After jogging for 20 minutes, John stopped to drink water. He sat on a wooden bench and looked around the park. Birds were flying from tree to tree, singing cheerful songs. Nearby, a gardener was watering some colorful flowers. The park smelled sweet because of the blooming flowers.
Before going home, John did some stretches near a playground. There were a few children playing on the swings and a father pushing his little girl on a slide. Everyone seemed happy. At 7 o’clock, John walked back home. He felt relaxed, happy, and full of energy for the day. He loved starting his mornings in such a peaceful way.
